Centerra Gold (CG) is a Canadian company exploring, developing and operating gold mines in the former Soviet Union countries, Turkey and Mongolia. Currently, the company owns and operates two gold producing mines: Kumtor in Kyrgyzstan (86% of CG’s 2009 revenue) and Boroo in Mongolia (14% of total revenue). Besides these assets, Centerra owns Gatsuurt mine in Mongolia and holds interests in several other properties at different stages of exploration and development.
We have dropped equity coverage of the company in February 2014.
